Community Through Performance
In addition to regular rehearsals and learning opportunities, members have the chance to participate in performances within the local community. These events allow musicians to share their progress, connect with audiences, and contribute to local cultural life
As a not-for-profit organization, LNHB is dedicated to creating accessible musical opportunities rather than seeking profit for its members. Any financial surplus is reinvested to support the band’s goals, strengthen programming, and help members share music through performances in the local community.
Lakeshore New Horizons Band Mission Statement
The LNHB is dedicated to following the philosophy of the 
New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA), by providing recreational music programs for adults.
Our programmes are tailored to accommodate a wide range of skill levels for individuals that include:
- Experienced musicians
- Musicians looking to return to playing an instrument after a long absence
- Musicians who are starting to play an instrument for the first time.
In addition, our programs provide members with performance opportunities within the local community.
The LNHB is a Not-for-Profit organization, dedicated to operating without seeking profits for its members. Any financial surpluses will be redirected to further the LNHB organization's objectives.
